EXCLUSIVE: The Paris Theater is partnering with the Academy Museum of Movement Photos in Los Angeles to current a variety from the museum’s weekly collection, Department Selects, the place film lovers can journey by movie historical past. The Paris Theater is New York Metropolis’s longest-running arthouse cinema and the final remaining single-screen cinema in Manhattan. The theater reopened on September 1, after technical upgrades, together with the set up of a brand new Dolby Atmos sound system and the reintroduction of 70mm screenings for the primary time in over 15 years.
